Stripping & Waxing: This is for when your old floor finish has either been wore down from insufficient top scrubs or from too much dirt becoming embedded in the finish from improper floor maintenance. We use a stripper solution to emulsify the old finish from the tile, then a powered low rpm buffer or a propane stripper to help remove the finish. This neutralizes the floor with cold water which in turn, seal the pores. The last thing we do is lay down at least 4 coats of premium floor finish.

Top Scrub: Depending on the amount of foot traffic you facility gets, a top scrub should be performed at least once a quarter. We use a light cleaner with a special pad to remove the top layer of dirt from your floor finish. Clean water is then mopped on to close the pores of your tile and then we apply a new premium floor finish. It will look like you constantly have a new looking floor all year round. We apply at least four coats of finish. This means that if the dirt is trapped in the first two layers that are removed — the bottom two layers never have to be stripped.
